Now lets hear more of your great stories that are truely informative and entertaining,not to mention the ongoing stress factor of your own valuble belongings which you've carried on about much longer on the net than I have,and helped prompt me to surface here,it's that behavior that inspired me to build the micstand character,and tell it from my perspective.
I hope you get the gist....but could really care less by now,hopefully one day I'll find the words to put it in that click for you

You're not defending yourself! You're defending the Purple Tribute Band and their insanely drunken singer, and you're defending them no matter what!

a support group is obviously something you aren't willing to get any information on the meaning of,before you run your mouth about.
Anyone with any humane helping ability,knows what a support group is,it doesn't always glorify the subject,it goes both ways...support being the operative word.
We don't support what you think...in fact it's the opposite,we support each others setbacks and barracades that block our lives due to the tragedies that bring us together,and it's about coping with,dealing with,and understanding that life goes on after a loved one is murdered by a drunk driver.(hard as it can sometimes be,especially when you saw it happen,and couldn't do anything)
I hope you understand this a little better now,and as it'a an emotional subject for me
I no longer take offence to your misunderstanding and chalk it up to our ongoing misinterpretation of one anothers communtications,so I hope I made this clearer to you,and apoligise for any confusion of how a support group is defined,cause it does look as if one is supporting the drivers,but it's only a metephore,if you don't believe me,just do some research on the subject of the way a support group is defined.
And thanks for taking the joke I said lightly...

There was no one there to ooh and aaahhh anyone elses guitars as we all got ours signed and we all had the same ones to get signed. We were all happy to let them sit in a side room during the performance and one of the owners had a seat next to the entrance to the room so he sort of sat watch. There's no great story involved and no death defying feats to protect them either. I may have bumped into someone but didn't give them any sh1t about it.

I came on a little too strong on that one,sorry brother,but it had to do with someones interruption,and I was a bit on the defensive,but cooled myself down to react with some dignity to him,although I often don't understand him,and vise versa,he's still someone I respect...not that I know exactly why,but I hope it all comes out in the wash..I know he could care less because that would conflict with his admitted mission here,but who knows?
I try to make clear that when I mention something of a magnitude nature,that it's just an exapmle,and I'm sorry some get tired of it,but when it isn't directed at you in particular,please try and shake it off,and don't get invilved too much,thats all I can say,because that is one area where I don't aim the gun at you,that would be like a repeating myself directly at you,and that would insult you...I know some other things can go that way as well,but that can be dealt with on the level it calls for,when it calls for it...

Well now I have the story that has often made me wonder...of course I knew about the party and all that,I was just curious how the whole thing panned out,thats all.

I've tried to explain that it has nothing to do with "flaunting" no matter how it looks to a detractor,as I use the forum to feed my cause,just like anyone else,and we all differ somewhat in our purpose for being here,and you do the same...
A misunderstanding of ones motivations is not a rare thing...if I say someone is short on recordings that always can help ones opinion or change it a bit by way of absorbing as much as possible to challenge even their own doubts about what they opine before they have enough to merit very harsh criticism,and I spot it...thats when I go to work,if one has three Purple records to listen to,and thats all they've heard,and they carry on as if they're opinion of them is reflective of having tons more,I feel I can either help them,if that is their wish,or atleast enlighten them that they're in need of more before they gospelize...pretty simple if you ask me.

Ritchie´s strat, you have on this board a couple of weeks ago that you can play guitar as good as Steve Morse and taht it is an easy task .
If I were you I would change my name and start again to have any credibility and dignity in any discussion.
