LOL!! What a move forward then eh?! Please could someboby to me the difference between The Snakes, The Company Of Snakes and M3? It looks like the same band doing the same thing but under a different name.

Ali,
When they do the same thing as good as they do it, who cares?
Roll on the Dudley gig.

Exactly!!!!!!!!
what on earth more can be made out of a tribute band, and a damn fine one with members that actually wrote the material in the first place.
I detect misplaced bitterness on Ali's part.

This info is off the top of my head and I'm sure someone else can fill in details.
The Snakes used a singer named Jorn Lande (I think that's the spelling). He sounded so much like DC it was scary. I really like their one studio release titled "The Snakes". Some excellent all new material on this album.
The Company of Snakes used the 2nd singer from Bad Company (don't recall his name, was it Berggren?). They also had Don Airey on keyboards until he was called to duty with DP.
M3 had Tony Martin for a while and are now using Stefan Berggren as mentioned in the initial post of this thread.
So basically you are correct, the same guys in all 3 groups except for singer, keyboards and drums (?).
Sorry for the spotty info. For more info go to www.classicwhitesnake.com. Check out the Interviews link for more info and then visit the other links they have on their links page.
As big as the reformation of DP MKII was back in 1984, I would be just as thrilled to see DC get back together with Moody, Marsden and Murray (and wouldn't it be awesome if Jon Lord joined them!)! A guy can dream can't he

Re: M3 Singer For Upcoming Dates
Of course you can dream. One day... Seriously, the statement from M3 makes it clear this will be a temporary solution with Stefan. I believe someone else is being considered for a long term arrangement... I still don't know why this lot are referred to as a tribute band any more than Coverdale? The only time WS was a recognisable band was from 79-82. Anything since has just been playing really. The last so-called WS tour was surely just a big tribute act playing large venues. At least M3 have three original members, two of whom are as instrumental to that proper WS sound as the vocalist himself.

Robert Hart is the Bad Co. guy you're thinking of. He left COS to be replaced by Stefan Bergren. Gary Barden (ex MSG) was also involved at some point (a few gigs only I think).
