The stuff is under permission of Mr. Coverdale. What it that means?
Sykes is trying to recuperate Aldridge and Mendoza?
Or Coverdale is trying to recuperate Sykes?

Following that link it says:

"Blue Murder Live in Japan

Japan 2004:

April 16 Osaka
April 17 Nagoya
April 20 Tokyo
April 21 Kawasaki

Marco would like to let it be known that he is doing these shows with Blue Murder as a special guest, and with David Coverdale's full blessing. Marco is still a proud member of Whitesnake and will be performing with them later this year!"

Blue Murder have reformed and nobody bothered telling us?!? Typical! emoticon

Seriously though, I hope they get round to doing a few European shows, much as I enjoy the Thin Lizzy thing Sykes has been doing for the last few years it is time to break free from its limitations and try something new!

Couldn't agree more, it's all well and good, but he should be putting his skills to better use!

As much as I enjoyed seeing Sykes again in Feb....I really thing he's dumbing down his talent doing what he's doing...Really wish he was out there on his own....but then I'd probably have to fly to Europe or Japan to see him.

Sykes was really awesome here in Vancouver back in Feb of this year backing up DP with Thin Lizzy. He's got a lot of bite on his lead playing. But it's good to see him break free of the Lizzy thing with this new solo tour. Mendozza is a awesome bass player. Players like to play and keep sharp so I'm sure Coverdale doesn't mind his crew staying sharp.
