Present at an in-store signing in Califiornia was David and Doug Aldrich from Whitesnake, alongside a few other rockers. Rocker and site regular Reggie Boyle talked to David and Doug and filed this report: "David said he's still very upset with the lack of support from the label on his latest solo effort. He's also said "he's very aware that his loyal fan base that wants to hear new material". There are offers out there from some labels that have shown some promise that has drawn his attention with a greater commitment to promotion. The decision is still up in the air as to a greatest hits live package with the current line up of David, Doug, Marco Mendoza, Reb Beach, Timothy Drury & Tommy Aldridge or a new studio CD or maybe even both. It looks like a summer overseas with a U.S. tour at the end of the year with a much better support package. Everyone was excited to see what happens & we should find out very soon as the summer touring news is just around the corner. David was at a book signing for his wife Cindy who co-wrote "Food that Rocks" at the Virgin Mega Store in West Hollywood. Also on hand to sign autographs & lend support was Alex Ligertwood (Santana), Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot), Tony Franklin (Whitesnake, Blue Murder, the Firm) all parties contributed to the cook book. The book can be found at www.amazon.com." nondisclosed_email@example.com (Christos Gatzidis)Mon, 22 Mar 2004 11:06:18 +0000
