M3 - Classic Snake Live Volume 1
Just got the CD today from the excellent http://www.z-roxx.com/
Only had the chance for one spin so far, but sounds excellent. Tony Martin does a great job on the vocals and the whole band sound really tight.
What a setlist (see below)......if only DC would........(never gonna happen, is it ??)
This is taken from http://www.z-roxx.com/snake.htm
Recorded recently at a packed house in the Midlands, Marsden, Moody, Murray, Martin and Stanway bring you a collection of classic Whitesnake songs many of which have never been recorded live before. Our own on the spot journalist informs us that this was one killer gig and that, if the gig can be captured in its full glory, this will be one hell of a live CD to own.
Tracklisting: Walking In The Shadow Of The Blues, Don't Break My Heart Again, Lonely Days Lonely Nights, Hit N Run, Ready N Willing, Ain't Gonna Cry No More, Youngblood, Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City, Child Of Babylon, Here I Go Again, Take Me With You.

Re: M3 - Classic Snake Live Volume 1
I love Tony Martin's voice and can imagine he did a great job. Hit An' Run, Young Blood (one of my favourite Snake songs ever!), Lonely Days..., Child Of Babylon AND Take Me With You?! Mouthwatering stuff, I need to get this one ASAP, thanks for the info!

Re: M3 - Classic Snake Live Volume 1
Went to the Wolverhampton gig last night and picked up my copy of the CD. Listened to the first 6 tracks on the way home last night and its sounds great. I do think there has been a little vocal dubbing in a few bits where Tony fluffed the lyrics but apart from that, the rest is as I remember the gig.

For anyone like me who hasn't seen them yet, below is a link with five 1 min soundbytes from the live album. I have to say Martin sounds fantastic on stuff like Hit An' Run and Lonely Days, Lonely Nights!
