Whitesnake 2004?

So what's the word then? I don't really follow David's posts on his site all too often and I am curious to know whether there have been any developments about the proposed live CD(s). Anyone know when next year it will be put out and in which format (whole concert, pastiche of tracks etc.)? Will this be followed by another Snake tour?

I don't visit his site much either - I find it much too confusing, and full of "See ya at the mall at 6" type messages. But it would be nice to think that he could build on this year's tour. emoticon

Must agree with Nighthawk, that's part of the reason I don't visit too often now.

I quite often just look up DC's archived postings, seems though no concrete plans for 2004 other than the "Live In The Still Of The Night" CD and a site update (video and audio) around Christmas time.

Only other Whitesnake item is "The Early Years", a 2 CD compilation (yes another.... emoticon) due around Feb taken from the 1978-1984 years on EMI.

Too much brown nosing on that sit by the posters. David's messages are great though.

Good to have you back Scotsnake! Any possibility of unreleased stuff on that comp, or is it just recycled material?

SuperTrouper, where you been hiding lately? emoticon

The words 'EMI' and 'unreleased stuff' do not go together, you should know that by now mate. emoticon

That's not quite true, at least 'EMI' and 'unreleased stuff' are good friends in LLRO box set. emoticon

The only reason EMI has given Purple a decent treatment in recent years is Simon Robinson who keeps pushing, supervising and pointing the way to them. If it wasn't for him I doubt there'd be much to talk about concerning reissues...
