Good advice there MrED45, they are both invaluable indeed. I always do a little tour
every day starting off with deep-purple.net going through the various links leaving the
highwaystar.com link till last, and then link to these forum pages from there. It
has become a ritual and doing it in this order hopefully allows any new items to be
picked up, before coming to the discussion pages.

They're both great but I think deep-purple.net is closer to my taste. The Highway Star is a bit too "serious".

A minor gripe with THS - they do get a bit behind with things. I know they have problems with funding, so this is definitely a gripe rather than big time criticism.

However, at the moment the opening line under the central banner highlighting the Don Airey interview says:

"As Deep Purple undertake their summer tour of North America....."

which, with due respect, is definitely last year's 2004 tour.

We are right on the eve of this year's......
