...That Deep Purple start their writing session for the Bananas follow up? Confirmation of the fact and then any kind of reports, news, rumours, gossip, leak-outs etc. will be very welcome!

Yes. When I met Steve a few weeks ago he said the band would be writing the new DP album just after the Dregs tour ended. Plus Ian Gillan's recent show in Toronto last week, somewhat confirms what Steve said to me.
