This is a great song. The lyrics are excellent. The music is superb.
The real problem here is Gillan's singing. He sounds really ragged. He tries really hard, but he just can't pull off the harder parts.
This is also what kills "Mitzee Dupree", IMHO. IG just sounds terrible. He is much better on the hard, fast rockers like "Mad Dog" and "Dead or Alive".
Either way, SA is a great song.

OK people, I'm going out on a limb here. Its always been my least favorite track off the album. I've heard numerous people rant and rave about it and I always go back to give it another try and come away unimpressed.
Just me apparently.
