As i've said, to me the album has historical value due to it introced me to Deep Purple and was enough to make me want to look into DP further. My next album was In Rock and then came Machine Head. My comments on it's worth only come in lieu on the basis that of the purchase of the two subsequent (MH & MIJ) albums and then WDWTWA followed by Burn and RBR really put it's content into perspective for me and I don't think it's one of thier strongest. But it was certainly enough for me to, while the wait until the next album (MH) and what I heard on IR,and I bought albums by everybody else, still kept DP at the top of my list.
