Some Malmsteen questions for D. White
First, how do you properly spell your first name, is it Dougie or Doogie?!!
Next,
I just want to let you know that out of all the Yngwie albums that I've heard, I think Attack and Unleash the Fury are in my favorite top 4 Yngwie albums.
I will admit that I don't have the first three Yngwie Rising Force albums (but I've heard most of the popular songs, Black Star, Spanish Castle Majic,etc.).
But my other two favorites are the "Eclipse" album and "Facing the Animal."
One song from Eclipse especially is my favorite, and that is "Devil in Disguise."
I think you could do justice to the songs from Eclipse, it has such a Blackmore's Rainbow feel to that album... and of course, we all know that Cozy Powell was on "Facing the Animal"... is there any chance that you and Yngwie might resurrect some songs from Eclipse and Facing the Animal and include them in your live set with songs from Attack and Unleash the Fury? That would be awesome.
By the way, I saw the Attack tour at the Starland Ballroom in 2004 in Sayerville NJ, (I was the guy up front with the blue sweat shirt on, I was headbanging to Perfect Strangers when the opening band performed it!!) Anyway, you, Sarzo and Yngwie were GREAT!! Any chance a live album might come from the tour featuring Sarzo too? I hope so?

Re: Some Malmsteen questions for D. White
Yngwie did Bedroom Eyes off Eclipse for quite a few years (saw him do it in 2001) though I can't remember if he ever did it with Dougie.
He did a resurrect a fantastic track off this album though for the first time in yonks for the tour that just finished, the awesome Demon Driver! Excellent choice, hope they keep it in the set for the next tour and perhaps add something off Facing The Animal too, how's about Only The Strong Survive or Another Time?

Re: Some Malmsteen questions for D. White
Morning,
My name is Douglas and the Scottish spelling would be Dougie which anywhere else on this planet becomes Duggy as in Buggy. So I spell it Doogie like Boogie so people can at least pronouce it properly. Some people call me other things but I ignore them mostly.
I have no say in the songs Yngwie plays but I did learn 47 for the last tour and ended up singing maybe 10.

I really enjoyed the Starlight Ballroom both as a venue and a gig. Played lots of pool during the opening bands slot. A bit isolated though. Leapt off the drum riser, almost killed Sarzo and narrowly missed the keyboards. Dont you hate people who spit on stage
