They are not inducted as performers, but in the musical excelence award. It's like a consolation price mostly for sidemen.

They are not on the official performer category. I believe this is also what they will give Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Whitesnake, Scorpions and others in the future.
What an insult to hard rock and heavy metal. 😡
