You could be right about the title.

Re: First hint of new album?
I liked the last 3 album's quite a bit and still listen to them regularly. Can't wait for a new one.

2012 - Now What?!
2017 - Infinite
2020 - Whoosh!
2022 - Turning To Crime (probably)
Now What?! - April 2013
Turning To Crime - could be even in 2021; if the clock on the website is indicating something in 35 days, then it may be a single, and then from a single to an album should not be a long wait, which would be the first time since 1974/1975 when the band is making new albums year by year. Isn't it amazing???

Am I excited?
I enjoyed the last 3 albums when they were released, but after a couple of weeks I stopped listening. Now and then I only listen to a couple of tracks.
When I listen to In Rock, Fireball, Machine Head, Who Do We Think We Are, Burn, Come Taste The Band I listen to the whole album. I think that says enough. To me the fire is gone. After TBRO they should have quit or started under a new name. There is no way they can live up to the past.
totally agree with this the fire and excitement is long gone

All killer with no filler please, the last two have some good to great tracks but also some pretty average stuff. Infinite has stronger tracks than Whoosh but the tracks on Whoosh seem to gel together to make a stronger album.
Still looking forward to a new effort though, sticking two fingers up to old age!
But they are not sticking two fingers to old age though are they? They sound like an old tired band.
The recent Ezrin albums have been decent enough but are pretty much easy listening and nothing like the hard rock the band made their name on.
Enjoyable? yes but hardly inspiring.
I listen to those albums a few times on release and enjoy them but then seldom revisit them.

I agree here. They are playing good music, but just not exciting music. I'm sure that their age has something to do with it, but there are a number of old rockers that are still jammin'. Either way, it might be nice to have a new album, but I wouldn't want to see another show where IG is hacking out a lung. Roger and IP still rock, but even Paice has slowed down somewhat. Keep IG singing within his present capabilities and it may be enjoyable.

I don't really think that way. They are more relaxed now and try other styles - Like Blood from a Stone or like more proggy things on Woosh. Sure, it's not a revolution any more like In Rock was, it's not the same power any more as Made in Japan.
But hey - I also grew older. I'm not into headbanging any more (never really was, but anyway) but can do it a bit more laid back now. So I really like the ways they try to develop. Some of these attempts maybe don't work but some of them I find very enjoyable.
As you so often quote Iron Maiden as example who still have power and energy: I'm definitely not an expert on their catalogue, just listened to Book of Souls lately - and was bored although the songs themselves are not bad. I just thought "Oh well, that's the old formula again. A bit slow and dramatic here and then out of a sudden let's jump into galopp" (in German there's a nice term "pig's galopp" which describes the typical Maiden rhythm pretty well IMHO). Don't get me wrong, they are a great band but I was mildly disappointed that it's still pretty much the same without the (for me recognizable) attempt to do something new.
So tastes differ and I'm definitely looking forward to Pruple's new (still hypothetical) record!
