The soundbard series
Figured it might get a general thread and not specific to certian releases
anyone here in the know who can shed some light as to how this series came about, and how they go about picking shows for it?
Also; what about release schedule?
Brilliant idea, and I hope it continues for years to come
seeing as they focus on the last 3 decades, what are people's biggest hopes for shows to be released?
(seems safe to assume that they are going to put out more from the cd box which featured Newcastle / Wollogong at least)

Re: The soundbard series
replying to my own thread, of the top of my head I'd like to see
* a gig from the fall of 2017 when the tour featured 5 new songs in the set
* a Satriani gig
* a 2003 gig from the fall.
* a 2004 gig which featured Machine Head

Re: The soundbard series
I didn't order the London show but listened to it this morning and was surprised how much better IG sounded than I remembered from the boot. It is clear he is struggling but as the show goes on he seems to get stronger. Between songs he can barely speak, his throat must have been in shreds at the end of the gig.
Also wonderful to hear JL, I might have to reassess my decision and buy the vinyl.

Re: The soundbard series
There is still the early 1969 MKI live recording done by a Canadian radio Station. It was found, lost and, quite a few years back, apparently found again.

Re: The soundbard series
Would welcome any era, but it seems like the main/sole focus will be the Morse era

Doebiedoe 1970 Soundboard bootleg. Dutch TV but only fair qulaity
Lyon 1973 Soundboard bootleg. French radio but poor quality
Mark 2 re-union one
Paris 1985 TV with soundboard music. Gillan is rough.
Providence 1985 TV with soundboard music. Nobody’s home on video singles. Space on you tube
