Support Celtic Legacy REDUX Kickstarter campaign
Hi all, long time since I last posted something on the forums, but this time it is with a very good reason, to support a band that never got the attention it would have deserved:
Celtic Legacy REDUX Kickstarter
Our old friend Dave Morrissey since the times of the old THS forum has gathered the band together again (including Dave Boylan!) to do a new version of the debut Celtic Legacy album to finally sound as it should have sounded since the beginning.
First and foremost the album always had an extremely strong track list of melodic traditional metal, with the title song being one of the obvious highlights.
As I mentioned, CL never got the attention they deserved (especially for the follow-up Resurrection) but this is a small chance to fix some of it.
Wholeheartedly recommended. Please support.

I couldn't agree more with Niko, this band never got the recognition they deserved and now is the chance for more of you to support them and get to hear what they are about.
In 2004, a small group of THS forum's members (me included) travelled across to Ireland for the launch of the second CL album.
We had what I can only describe as the best of Irish Hospitality together with two shows, one in Dublin and one in Belfast, a trip with the band and a group of their fans from Germany on the coach between venues, free event entry and a free event T Shirts (which I still treasure). After the Dublin show we got to spend the rest of the night, into the early hours, chatting and drinking with their special guest, only Phil Lynnot's late mother Philomena. A weekend that I will never forget with people whom I had never met before but will stay friends with forever.
The band may have changed line ups over the years, but the two main members are back together again. Their music and song writing has always been of a very high standard which is why they were invited to play at British Steel and Bloodstock in the past and having sampled some of the new singers input, I think that they are now better than even the Resurrection line up.
Come on you guys, take the chance that I took in 2004 and get behind them with this remake of the first album. Not only will you be helping to create a bit of music history, you will get to own one of what will be a very limited number of CDs and at the same time discover your next favourite band!!!!

The band have released a free taster single via Bandcamp so you can hear how they sound with the new singer. This track is not from the CD and not their own original material but it does highlight how good they are.
BTW, the new singer is John Bonham and this song is by Jim Page!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy and get backing their campaign.

Agree totally with Niko and Unchained.
A great band who deserve support. Please check them out and support their Kickstarter campaign if you can. They are almost half way there, with another 30 days to go.
