I find this concert to be a difficult listen. Everything is horribly overplayed and DC sounds pretty ragged. The interviews might be worth watching though.

I think it's rubbish. DC promised to dig into the older catalogue and he didn't. Essentially this is bollocks and I was there.

Re: Whitesnake Q&A and Doningon 1990 stream
I watched the Q & A and the half hour where DC was joined by Vai, Sarzo, Aldridge, and Vandenberg- except that Vandenberg's virtual connection was frozen and we therefore never heard from him at all. The Q & A featured DC in fairly boisterous mood although he calmed down a little when the other musicians were on and it was a reasonably entertaining half hour conversation between the musicians.

Re: Whitesnake Q&A and Doningon 1990 stream
I caught about 15 minutes of the Q&A and enjoyed it much more than the live stream of the concert. It just reinforced what a bad fit Vai was for the band. I enjoy some of his solo work, but he really didn't fit in Whitesnake. The guitar solo on Is This Love was enough for me to call it quits. Technically brilliant, but didn't suit the song at all.
