Re: WHOOSH! review
You are right about Dancing in my Sleep Chrisbow. I've listened to the CD twice today. Step By Step is kind of Eerie. Would have fit well in a Ghost Movie. I think I know how the Album got it's title. 8 of the 13 songs are under 4 minutes so when one comes on, before you know it, Whoosh it's already over. My favorite song so far is The Long Way Round. I wish Remission Possible was longer. All in all a very enjoyable CD.

Re:
Interesting to hear Ezrin's comment in the chat feature with Glover that The Power of the Moon was originally with the high vocal on top. Would love to hear that. It's a great track but buried in the middle like that it loses focus for me. Would have been a better opener or ender.

BTW what's with the "act 1" and "act 2" and what is a bonus track when it's on the first release of the album?
That's a good question. I only see those on concept albums, opera.
"Act 1" and "Act 2" sounds cooler than "Side 1" or "Side A".
My opinion only, I could be wrong.
"Dancing in My Sleep" is not really part of the album, just a bonus track.
The bottom line is, it's not cool to see the word "bonus track" on the back of a vinyl record.
Look at the vinyl NOW WHAT, not cool to read "bonus track".
Its okay with a CD though.
I think "And the Address" was meant to close the Album, to make the circle round. Deep Purple startet with this song, and it's the last one on a DP Album. But then they thought, maybe we will do another album. So "Dancing" was added. Otherwise it w(c)ould have been Whoosh's "Things I never said" ot "Painted Horse" ...

Re: WHOOSH! review
I really like the album. I think it could easily afford to have lost one out of Drop The Weapon, No Need to Shout or What the What, but even then I think all 3 are stronger songs than Get Me Outta Here and On Top of the World from Infinite. Better overall consistency than the last album and quality playing throughout from the entire band. For me, it's on a par with Now What and better than Infinite.

Re:
No Need To Shout is showing about 250,000 streams on Spotify which is way more than the other album (non-single tracks). Do we think this is particularly popular among fans?
In terms of a review, I'd summarise that the only really memorable tracks are Nothing At All, The Power of the Moon and Man Alive for me. It is a solid album without a really bad track, but there are no absolute show stealers, with perhaps the exception of Man Alive.
I like my epics, and Out of Hand and Birds of Prey are better than anything on offer here.
I think Power of the Moon is good, but a lost opportunity in terms of length and structure. The Long Way Round disappoints despite its length.

What about US did they crack top 100 on Billboard? If they did it would be the first time since S&M. Infinite came close.

Re: WHOOSH! review
"Also making a Top 5 debut, Deep Purple’s 21st studio album Whoosh! Enters at Number 4. It’s the legendary English rock band’s 11th Top 10 collection, and highest-charting in forty years, since 1980’s Deepest Purple which reached Number 1. Their 2017 album Infinite peaked at Number 6."
At the end it´s number 4 in UK.
