I've never been there. It is an interesting structure. It is a rigid building, as opposed to the Silverdome in Detroit(actually Pontiac, MI), which had a soft roof and upper structure held up by air pressure. The Stones were excellent in Detroit and I'll bet they were excellent in New Orleans.

The place was almost full and it's very big. We sat in the middle of a big party of people from New Orleans, they were fun and very friendly. Also had their own (hidden) bar with them.. which was good for us too.

Wikipedia say 87500 people, that would be the biggest gig I ever attended..!
