Impossible to answer. Sometimes the heart says Maiden but the mind says Priest, the next day the opposite happens. When I was younger I'd have said Maiden. Today, I feel Priest have a certain element of self parody which is essentially metal and that Maiden lack. Both great bands, of course; gonna see them both this coming summer.

100% agree here. It is always a toss-up.

I could never work out why Saxon never reached the same heights of both priest and Iron Maiden.
All 3 last albums showed they are still all brilliant.

No surprise to anyone that knows me on here but its Maiden for me but i do love them both.Absolutely AWESOME bands.
Unfortunately Priest are running out of original members or at least classic lineup members ,whereas Maidens classic lineup are still touring with the addition of a certain Gillan guitarist

BOS is a bloody fantastic album???Firepower is good too but BOS blows it away IMHO
