Your situation reminds me of mine when I first became a forum member on the old Highway Star forum - almost two years ago (how time flies!)...I'd been a Deep Purple fan since 1969, and also had experienced the "Golden" MkII lineup during the heydays of 1971 - 1973...also MkIII + MkIV from 1974 -76. It was great to discover such a wonderful medium with so many others the world round having a passion for this great band in common - although like the five members of MkII, a lot of us agree about very little else! emoticon
By the way, be aware of "Forum Addiction"...it's insidious and practically incurable! emoticon
