Really? How did you know?
Just listen to "Birds Of Prey" - especially to the end
edit:
Watching the "making of" makes clear, Ezrin's got no clue about playing guitar (and neither hearing guitar)...

Steve told that in an interview during the recording of a Kansas album

Re: New Album underway!!
On Top Of The World is a perfect example.
After the spoken part the most interesting part of the song begins and .....fades out.

It´s not precisely like that.
1.) It´s Steve who came up with idea of Ezrin producing DP albums.
2.) He likes Steve to play a bit "different" than he is (and maybe was) used to. I honestly think, that with Steve´s arthritis, it was one of the reasons why Bob was invited - he wasnt there just to help DP, but also to help Steve to find a bit different style of playing.

An interesting part of which is when Ezrin says to SM something like "we have enough widdley parts".
I don't think he was being disrespectful but it certainly gave ammunition to the anti SM brigade.
I understood it as wanting SM to change what he usually does, give it something extra.
I (like dp344) have also read an interview with SM where he says he didn't think Ezrin liked his playing, or something like that.
It would be strange to work with someone if they genuinely didn't like the guitarist style/work.

You mean Ezrin wants Morse to be more like a "real" hard rock guitarist.

Well, I am not able to really answer what Ezrin wants. However there are other people on the board who seem to know exactly what everyone thinks.

Not exactly what I was refering to..
The question you answered was "do you really think that anybody close to the band us readibg this forum and will consider your wishes?" In your answer you named Jon Lord and two guys who aren't close to the band.
