I prefer all three MK I albums over all the MK Morse albums other than Purpendicular.

To put Book of Taliesyn before Purpendicular or Now What.. emoticon emoticon

Maybe try reading the post? "Other than Purpendicular ".

However, even withstanding the fact that anything that you disagree with is not a relevant opinion, I prefer BOT over NW.
What can I say, I apologise having a different opinion to you.

You are right, I really should read your post properly. Other than that I already know about your anti Morse opinion. And of course it's your opinion, not mine.

Anti Morse? Could you show any post from me where I am anti Morse? I have never posted anything negative about SM as he is comfortably the strongest point of the band.
Genuinely think your determination to post negatively to me has gotten the better of you, I like Morse.

Anti the Morse era then.. maybe you are a closet Morse fan really..?

Not a closet Morse fan at all, simply a Morse fan as I enjoy his playing.

Thats good for you leeyt, but for me....

I did listen to MR BIG's ...Stories To Be Told... a week ago.

Almost every guitar solos of Paul Gilbert cuts through my hard rock soul like Blackmore, Roth, Schenker and many many more. His guitar playing comes from the heart and you can feel it.

When it comes to Steve Morse, a brilliant virtuoso, one of the best guitarist ever, but I dont even remember most of his solos in the studio albums, most of his solos does "not" hit me, but bore me, but then again each fan has his own preference.

SM is not in the same class as RB in his prime, but that's ok, I still like his playing and in the current touring band he is the only spark of life.

Without Bob Ezrin what do you think?

He is also a spark.

He has certainly added something to the studio work.

Although clearly the creative spark was a bit low when they had so much creativity coursing through them they recorded a cover of a Doors song.

Well anti the "touring band" then, Steve Morse happens to be the guitarist there..
And you seem to be quite negative about all the albums where Steve is the guitarist, right? With the exception of P.

I don't like Bananas, ROTD nor much of NW or Infinite. Now maybe NW & Infinite are as good as the band can do these days, but I don't think that they are anything special. The reason I don't like the albums is nothing to do with SM. I am a person who cannot overlook the vocals in any band and sadly IG is unable to sing to the standard that the rest of the band play.

I also don't like TBRO, S&M nor Stormbringer, although this doesn't seem to rile you as much for whatever reason?
My honest opinion is that DP stopped functioning as anything other than a greatest hits band after the Abandon tour.

I must apologise to the forum for going off topic but I haven't seen anyone else being asked to justify their opinion/list. I have no idea why my opinion would be so interesting to you, or even bother you so much?
I haven't put my list up as it changes quite regularly, but Bananas & ROTD would be my bottom two as in my opinion they have nothing interesting to listen to.
