I already have 2 cd's from Bernhard Welz and the purple members (and more).
Those 2 cd's have the same songs (except for 1 or 2).
Again, it seems like this one is a re-packaging of the same stuff (maybe a few different songs).
This said, it's for a good cause (donations to the Linda McCartney Fundraising Centre).

It's okay. Nothing overly exciting. Good hard rock with talented guests.
The Child in Time version (w/ Jon Lord) is a Live version from a few years before he died ( at least the one thats on the cd's I own).

Thanks. I'll have a listen when it's out. From the link, I understand it's in some ways related to the album Schubert in rock, which I have somewhere. What track is Gillan on? Anyway, it's great to have an official version of Steve Lee doing Child in time with Lord. What a singer..

Just listened to this in full for the first time: very, very boring, I have to say. Two or three good moments, mainly from Airey, but the rest is very uninspired, unfocused. Gillan sings for three seconds. Paice is nowhere to be heard.
