Never been a fan of Bon Jovi pop rock p!sh in the main ,they've done a few good songs and are without doubt a talented band but hes never had a voice or style that appealed to me ,but this is indeed bloody awful

But how much of an issue is it when you're at the show and both the audience and band are loud and you have beer in your hand? It seems to me to be a Youtube/internet issue.
I remember a friend saying how he went to see Led Zeppelin in 71 and they were awesome. They took along a tape recorder. When they listened back Page was all over the place and Plant went in and out of tune. Is this just a problem for the older rockstar or is this because access is now too easy and we can hear and see everything when we want?

Two slightly different things, I think:
to see a band you love in "flesh and blood", you tend to judge the whole experience.
To listen to the recording, you tend to focus just on the music.
But yes, I lost count how many times I heard people criticizing bands and then I went and thought were great. Purple being a good case.
A similar thing, people complaining about the sound quality of an album that they're only hearing via youtube. I buy it and to me it sounds great.
All this said, Coverdale sounds bad both on stage and on youtube.

To make a bad situation worse that Bon Jovi clip is also dragging -tempo is way off, Tico is drumming it way too slow!
