Re:
Yeah, that's a good idea. I will experiment with that!

I’ll have a listen later Stratman, think I’ve got some of your other tracks saved on sound cloud, The Loner possibly? When you say a modelling amp do you mean the Yamaha THR? Like you i use Engls for gigs, but the THR 10-X at home, sometimes with a Boss Overdrive....great outcomes!
Yeah The Loner, but that one sounds a little shrill. This one sounds better I think.
The modelling amp I use is the Roland Cube. But I was impressed with the Yamaha THR when I tried it in the store.
Yeah, listened now....nice work, cheers! I’m quite lazy and just use a smart phone for the odd recording, as you’ll hear from my sound cloud page (Guitar licks) but am open to purchasing/using some more sophisticated gadgetry ? any suggestions, that ideally could be used in conjunction with smartphones?

I'm not sure, but doesn't some of the IRIGG type product provide that sort of thing. I've seen a little IRigg box, you plug your guitar into and connect it to your IPhone and then use an app to get amp models and effects, so I'd guess you can record using that as well perhaps ?? What does it sound like.... very digital I'd guess, but if it lets you record easily maybe it's ok!
