Have you seen it confirmed somewhere that the full show is to be featured as part of the documentary?

It's fantastic that they've found this footage and if the whole show exists, that's brilliant. I wonder however, with modern technology, if there's anything that could be done to remove some of the distortion from the audio as it's pretty bad- in fact you can barely hear Tommy's solo for it.

Afaik there's not much you can do when the sound is distorted. When, for example, the bass guitar is too loud, you can rectify that by using an equalizer, but there's no option like that fore fixing distortion. When an audio signal is distorted, it's destroyed. Afaik.

Which in this case is a pity.

It was on the snippet of Paice's solo that had the link to the HS video, from the official Purple youtube channel.

From Facebook-page "Deep Purple (1968-1976)"

"A Purple GEM!
Every now and again we stumble upon a long lost classic.
This is Ian Paice live with Deep Purple Mark 4 At The Capital Centre Maryland USA on the 15th January 1976 . The audio is a little distorted but its a hidden gem. Enjoy and then head to our YouTube site for another 4 minutes of great Purple action:
https://www.youtube.com/user/deeppurpleos
The vision has been unearthed and will be a part of the Deep Purple Mark 4 Jakarta film that is in production."

But does that mean that the COPLETE show will be released on DVD?

40 years on and sounds fresher than anything. If you ignore the distortion! An outstanding find.
