Gee, couldn't be more obvious who. If I'm wrong I'll eat my words but I'm 99.99999999% sure I'm right. So if "he" prevented GH and DC from performing, do we really believe "he" would've let Ritchie perform if he had shown up?

Seriously, there is an ego problem as big as a skyscraper here, and it grows with time as it is not challenged anymore within the band by another ego and age takes away inhibitions.

As much as I admire Hughes as a musician, sometimes I just wish someone kicked him in the ass. He acts like a spoiled child who wants more and more. He wouldn't have been where he is had it not been for the success of Mk2. How can he !@#$ into his own nest? If there's an ego problem, it seems to me it's Hughes who's the main problem.

I'm sorry but I've lost all respect for Ian Gillan as a result of this. If it is him that GH refers to (and like RBB I'm 99.999% sure it is) then he's saying one thing in public and another in private. At least be consistent.

I agree to disagree.
Hughes as an huge ego, but I think there's someone who's ego is even much bigger.
