Friedhelm, we have often discussed about DP and will no doubt do so also in the future, but just wanted to let you know I am really sorry for your back problems...from what you say, it must be really annoying, and it certainly is more important than who does what in/out of DP. Keep spirits up, even when I sometimes sound harsh!
I second this!

I third it but seriously we have had our disagreements on this forum Friedhelm but none of that really matters a jot when it comes to our health, best wishes mate.

Re: Post-induction support for current DP
Thank you for your nice words, guys. But there's no need to worry: I am living with this problems for fifteen years now and kept my spirit up all the time. And that won't change. It's just sometimes you can't do what you could do and what you want to do. But it isn't too hard to deal with it, if your brain is still intact. And if you're an optimist after all.

Re: Post-induction support for current DP
I know what health means. Almost 3 years ago I got a complete knee prothese after years of struggling.
So best wishes to you Friedhelm.
But back to topic.
My point of view about the band changed since the whole HOF fiasco.
But before that I already decided not to buy the new album as soon as it is going to be released. For first time since 1973!!!
After the 2011 tour I decided to skip all future tours. Can't imagine they'll start playing more Morse songs.
On the other hand if they do I don't know if I would go.
For me Morse is the wrong guitarist. I heard all his solo's. To me there's little fire or excitement left in this band.
I'm listening to Stuttgart 1993, those days are gone and will never return. Even if Gillan is sounding better these days, there is one big difference. There is a real rock guitarist present.

Yes, sad but true. Deep Purple needs a real hard rock guitarist, not a real friend or a real buddy.

did you ask them all? Of course they were happy they were listening to a very talented tribute act playing some classic timeless rock songs.
