Coverdale/Hughes album?
Don't you think it's about time Hughes and Coverdale finally recorded an album together? They tals so much about how much they love each other, that they're soul brothers, that thhey're like twins and stuff like that, and yet they haven't done anything together since... 1976 (I'm not counting Glenn's appearance on SOTT and one or two live appearances). Time is running fast. David talks retirement again. I hope it only means retiring from WS and heavy touring. Glenn is the last one that seems to still have got it in him. It's the best moment, and I dare say, the last moment to do something together.

Re: Coverdale/Hughes album?
Yes, that would be interesting and nice. But, if I had to make a choice between a new, less heavy approach Whitesnake album and a DC/GH collaboration, that would be WS for sure. One of the reasons is that DC/GH project would be, especialy on tour, a look back in time and would probably include DP material. Wich is now, I think, out of date. David has already made a full circle with The Purple album (his words).

David has talked about a blues album...it would be great if he widened the scope to include soul and maybe included Glenn on at least one track or maybe more.

For the record, whilst I agree Glenn can still hit those high notes as required (don't ask me how) I find him hard work as a full on front man. I also think David still has it in him but he needs to adjust the songs and performance to fit the ability, just like Plant, Gillan and others have done. I want more vocals like Private Number and the BM version of Trouble please where David sounds great, still second to none.
I hope that next year sees the end of Whitesnake the full on rock band (it's been fun) and the emergence of David Coverdale the singer.

Re: Coverdale/Hughes album?
I have a feeling that once Whitesnake is over, DC and Glenn are going to do an album ... I guess we will see ...

DC would never go for it, and we all know why.

Is it because David's hair is better than Glenns?
