Jon Lords Greatest Solos
Theres tons ....... I know, but starting with this one, subtle, tasty and perfect (the same can be said about Blackmore's accompaniment too):

Re: Jon Lords Greatest Solos
I always thought Jon had this very special tone that nobody else is able to duplicate. For me it's always been a major reason for my fascination with Deep Purple. And that's why I'm probably became indifferent to Purple since Lord left the band in 2002.

That ^
I can't pick a favorite JL solo just like I find it difficult picking a favorite RB solo.

Re: Jon Lords Greatest Solos
I recently listened to the Danger. White Men Dancing and I have to say Jon's Hammond has such a meaty sound. Irreplacable!

Jon's playing in Wring That Neck on In Concert 1970 and Live in Aachen always inspires my awe.

Re: Jon Lords Greatest Solos
I always liked his solo from Rosa's cantina. There are more spectacular ones, but I like the way he played it there.
