Yeah! And Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City. DC and RB at that... man.

hmm....not sure about that. I can't see it working at this point. RB probably lost a bit of his rock mojo I would have thought? SOTN.....needs to be really heavy.....can't see it.

Heavy? Not really. Check out the original. Blackmore always was the best blues guitarist of the DP family.

Blackmore always was by FAR the greatest guitarist of the DP family
there i fixed it for you Rezi emoticon

Yeah, right. That would have been a total abomination. A great way of destroying the legacy of one of the greatest musicians that ever lived. Good, very nice. That would be ridiculous! RB playing subpar hair metal music.
Thank god RB knows better, one of the most inteligent people around.

Had a look at both Fireworks and Powerplay mags in the newsagent this morning. As well as having DC on the cover, they both give the album a fair, balanced and generally positive review.

Poor you. You got what i say just alright. Why would RB participate in anything regarding an awful hair metal band? RB is his own man, he doenst play in others peoples ( c rappy) bands.

Can you imagining RB posing around in the stage playing those awful tunes? OUCH. He would lost all the respect he earned all those years playing REAL music. GOT IT??

You're talking utter bull KF and you know it emoticon

Playing whitesnake songs didn't do Jimmy page or Steve via any harm did it ? And there is nothing crappy about any of whitesnakes classics ,the 80s image was embarrassing but the music was always top notch.oh and btw blackers was the ultimate poser back in the day, in fact the modern day posers learnt the lot from Ritchie emoticon

Re: The Purple Album.....

There’s a new 57 minute on line interview w DC from some Canadian Radio station, saw the link for on facebook, lots of info…similar to the fireworks/Powerhouse features.

Will post the link for all…..

After listening to this I put on Lay down stay down from the P album again – awful!

One thing I forgot to mention about the Powerhouse interview was he states definitively that Keith Emerson was to have been approached to be the keyboard player in the proposed band, I don’t think this progressed to actually asking him though
