Re: What if Jon Lord had.......
I wasn´t doubting the horses knowledge at all, anyone who thinks that there actually IS a Beethoven´s 12th wouldn´t have lost anything in a music releated forum anyway, let alone type as much as you do, may it be with hooves, fingers or that pirate standard device.

You mean what would have happened if Jon Lord had a dump on his Hammond, mid solo?

Sometimes Gillan does it when Morse or Blackmore is soloing.
I quite dislike that to be honest. It really annoys me, and I find it takes some of the limelight away from the soloist.

In all honesty, I've no idea how many symphonys (or whatever) Beethoven wrote. I only know the 5th because it's first 3 or 4 chords are as widely known as the first 3 - 7 chords of "Smoke On The Water".
ps - What the hell is a 'pirate standard device'? Let me guess...one of those things that translates voice transmissions to typed correspondence over a computer? If so, we ALL know there's only one forum member who could possibly afford such cutting edge technology (and probably has had it for at least a year before it was available to the general public - 'inside' connections, you know!)...and it ain't me! /
...
Stephen Hawking is member of the forum?
No wait, with it´s the other way round, silly me.
BTW: Ed, Beethoven´s 9th and last Symphony is that 70 minute piece of music divided into movements of which some contain shameless plagiarism of Difficult To Cure by Ritchie Blackmore´s Rainbow!
PS: I bet you have heard symphonies no. 3 and no. 7 as well, even if you not aware of that.
