How will Jon be remembered years from now?

We know he will always be remembered as the Organ player for DP and as a true innovator on how it is used in Rock(The best IMHO). But how will he be remembered as a Classical musician? I am no expert on Classical music but I can say the Concerto and Sarabande were eye openers for me. Truly great pieces of work in the seventies. I have all his work after leaving purple and enjoy all of it.

I am also not classical music expert but if any rock musician will be rememberd for orchestral work it will be jon. In recent years he seemed to sink into classical crossover world nicely and was highly regarded there. His classical output is rather overlooked here but for me in 21 century his solo worka for me had The most relevance in solo output of all purple family members. And durham concerto is exremely beatiful pieće of music on par with his best 70 ties works. He seems to be high in Classic fm lists so and probably it is not that only Purple fana put him there.

In this country, sadly only as the keyboard player for Deep Purple and even then only amongst journalists and musicians and the hardcore fans. Most Americans aren't even aware he was in Whitesnake!

Throughout the rest of the world, he'll be held in much higher regard due not only to his work with DP and Whitesnake, but also his orchestral works where they seem to be held in much higher regard. You can't even get his classical works here with the exception of the last version of the Concerto.
