The way they used to be
This is far more exciting than most of reunited Mk2 live stuff, and certainly better than anything I've ever heard from the current band. Pure Purple heaven.

I liked this song on the album, but I really loved what they did with it live. It took on a whole new life.

Yeah, it was one of my favourites on the album from the start, and live versions are usually even better.
The song itself is one of my favourites of the post-reunion years (1984 up to now). They should have pushed this for the single, as good as King of Dreams is. TH is perhaps more accessible, whilst KOD is maybe a bit too similar to PS.

Another multi-camera job from the tour. Even with the weak audio, you can tell it's a great show. Lordy's Hammond touches in the intro alone...
