Aaaah, thank you - didn't know this...
Yet it's quite strange for them to give a song the title made of real names (Mitzi Dupree and Jack Ruby - exceptions to the rule )

Re: ?!
The artwork cover reminds me of PINK FLOYD's 'THE WALL' and THE BEATLES' 'WHITE ALBUM', both releses are double album, both are chart toppers, both are classic rock album, both are considered as one of the greatest rock albums of all times.
NOW WHAT?!, should have been a double album also.

Re: ?!
2013 seems like a pretty good year for coming back to form if David Bowie's album is anything to go by. However, despite my excitement regarding the new purple album I have a worry. Not in terms of the quality or sound of the album, in this respect I am wildly optimistic, but in terms of the album's reception.
Purple have never been particularly good when it comes to timing and, once again, they may be out of luck. April arrives and a sparkling album is delivered to great reviews as magazines prepare for a blitz of accolades. Until June 11th and the release of the Sabbath album. All eyes, awards and accolades are guaranteed to go in that direction. I don't dare even think what will happen if Zeppelin announce a tour:-)

With all due respect you are comparing apples & pears. Sabbath is largely a reunion of their most popular line-up, while Purple's lineup is hardly anything resembling their classic lineup, missing 2 of its key members, and a vocalist that is clearly struggling to sing like he did before.
Purple's new release also lacks any hype that goes with a long-awaited reformation such as Sabbath or a long-awaited reappearance as with Bowie.

Re: ?!
With only 5 weeks left until release, only Amazon seems to be offering it as a pre-order?

I agree with most of your opinion, especially with TIMING. The reunion should have happen in 1980 instead of 1984, good year for hard rock, 84 begins aor and pretty boyz glam rock.
I don't think they run out of luck, the only thing that they have run out is creativity and new ideas. The wait for new material and album becomes longer and looongeer. Let's hope that d next album will not be 10 years in the making.

I think the feeling is that this is their last album.
