Great album for sure but do you prefer it to the classic ones?   Yeah, I actually do prefer it to the classic Kansas albums. It has a certain cohesion that few of their albums contain, and it's just so hard-hitting and heavy while still retaining the progressive side of Kansas. Also, I prefer Ragsdale's violin work to that of Steinhardt's.   It's a very good album. I haven't listened to it in a while but I remember the opener I can fly as quite a devastating opening and Black Fathom Four near the end as a very good track. At the time, after Power and In the spirit of things, I was excited to see them returning to a more hard prog sound. nondisclosed_email@example.com (fdr)Mon, 25 Feb 2013 23:12:55 +0000 Re: 10 Favourite Albumshttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p464004,from=rss#post464004https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p464004,from=rss#post464004quote:fdr wrote: Kinski - I love your top ten (I love Klaus Kinski too) but Kansas Freak of nature?
