10 Favourite Albums

We haven't done this one in ages!

Your top 10 albums. Only one per artist / band, no compilations (as hard as that makes it to include any singles era artists), live albums are just fine. No alteratives, ten it is. This one's for the desert island, no coming back!

Mine, no particular order, except maybe the first one. Probably will forget something but what can you do, the ship's off.

In Rock - Deep Purple
Waiting for Columbus – Little Feat
Rising – Rainbow
Kerran – Dave Lindholm
Midnight Stroll – Robert Cray
In Step – Stevie Ray Vaughan
Mirage - Camel
s/t – Stray Cats
Luck of the Draw - Bonnie Raitt
Rock Billy Boogie - Robert Gordon

4. Genesis-"A Trick Of The Tail"
5. Yes-"Relayer"
6. Uriah Heep-"The Magician's Birthday"
7. Rainbow-"Long Live Rock 'n' Roll"
8. King Crimson-"The Great Deceiver"
9. Kansas-"Freaks of Nature"
10. Steely Dan-"The Royal Scam"

Some interesting choiches here.
Rezi - I don't even know four of your titles!
purpletemple - the first Journey is a marvellous disc but it's rare to see it in lists like this one!
Kinski - I love your top ten (I love Klaus Kinski too) but Kansas Freak of nature? Great album for sure but do you prefer it to the classic ones?

Just curious, what would be your "obvious" top 10?

If I had to make (and I did) a "not-so-obvious" top 10, this is how it would go:

Gary Moore-G Force
Strapping young lad-the new black
Maria McKee-High dive
Loudness-Disillusion
Pride & Glory-s/t
Cheap Trick-dream Police
Blue Murder-s/t
Celtic Frost-Into the Pandemonium
Black oak arkansas-s/t
Golden earring-Moontan

Just love to make lists emoticon

I guess it could change everyday.
Right now, I'd say:

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Rainbow Rising
DP Made in Japan
Gillan Glory Road
Whitesnake "Whatever from 1980-82"
Coverdale "Northwinds"
King Crimson "Red"
Yes "Going for the one"
Rush "Hemispheres"
Led Zeppelin "Houses of the holy"
