No! Blackmore did a WINTER album. He's a pagan now (used to be Christian!), he don't like Christmas! He said it in an interview after releasing the album. emoticon

I remember reading a different interview where he mentioned that (they're both pagan) and I just remember going "Whew!!" emoticon

It makes sense that he is, with all the seances he used to do. He said he was into white magic whereas Pagey was into black, but it always seemed to me regardless of the kind of seance, he would be at the very least Pagan (or atheist like me).

I'm sure there are Satanist, church-burning bands singing about Christmas! emoticon

No purple stories related to x-mas for me, but I always start the new year by listening to MIJ or least a couple of songs from MIJ.

The album I most associate with Christmas(from the DP family) is BN Shadow of the Moon. For some reason I started listening to it during the holidays and liked it a lot.

For me it's Scandinavian Nights (Stockholm 1970). I have no idea why!
