Opeth
I just saw Opeth live last night for the first time (been a fan for a while).
Stunning gig - still can't quite comprehend how good it was!!

Re: Opeth
I've seen them a few times and really like them. Unlike a lot of Opeth fans though, I'm a fan of their more recent proggier sounding material as opposed to the "cookie monster" style vocals of their early years. I became a fan right around "Damnation".
I like how the cover of their "Royal Albert Hall" dvd/cd set is a tribute to DP's "Concerto for Group and Orchestra"

Re: Opeth
I like the more recent style too, Watershed being my favourite album with Blackwater Park a close second.
They were so tight, it was breathtaking to behold. How they all remember the time signature changes and complexity is unbelievable.

Re: Opeth
It's an amazing band!
Although their latest album was a bit of a let down, as I prefer when they mix the vibes.
Watershed is my fav too.

Re: Opeth
Despite being a swedish band I don't know much about them, they sound like Dream Theater!
Mikael (great name by the way ) Åkerfeldt seems to be the main guy..?
