To Notice Such Things
Jon Lord and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Just got this yesterday. Recorded in 2009 with Jon on Piano. Got it on right now and have to say it is Excellant!

Re: To Notice Such Things
Agreed. I really enjoy Boom of the Tingling Strings and Durham Concerto as well.

Re: To Notice Such Things
Durham Concerto in particular is fantasic piece of work. Lord solo albums issued after he left purple are in fact (for me) only new music recently made by someone of the purple family which has any merits and class.
His works seems to be even overlooked here, and got little attention while "we heard it all before" Hughes, Whitesnake or Blackmore offerings are discussed.
