Tarantura
One can see online references to Tarantura bootlegs now and then. For example, there are a few covering Rainbow's 1976 tour in Japan.
Apart from very nice digipak sleeves, is the sound quality better than in older 'versions'? Or are these even from different (soundboard?) sources?

I have a a few of these, and they all sound very good. The best of these recordings were made by a certain Mr. Peach, and are not the same sources as the previously available soundboards, just like the Tarantura release of the MkIV Tokyo show, which is a different source from the previsouly available audience recordings.
You will not be disappointed if you buy these (or check out a certain forum), they're quality products made with a lot of care.
