Hello Rezi babe!!
I kinda miss it already. It sorta makes the place look empty although I can see your reasons for hiding the who's on-line function. That said,Is there a reason you have the avatar facility disabled? Was that abused as well or is it just something no-one is interested in having? I would like to have avatars as they bring a bit of personalisation and colour to other forums I use.
Love long and Prosper.

Hi Buddy, we have never had the avatar thing here (I think). I'll think about it, but somehow I feel we can do without it.
I too feel the place feels emptier without the "who's online" feature, but let's keep things like this at least for some time.
I am one of the guys who was against avatars in the first place. I can't see any use for avatars, and they only use bandwidth for no reason at all.
And, if the avatar is still visable after a ban, the banned user can change his/her avatar and then for a while still have negative impact on the forum.
As for the who's online feature, well, now it's disabled, and that's giving up to the mentally challenged person(s). It's not a new situation, and it also created some debate the last time certain posters got banned.

I see it more as taking the bone from the crazy puppy, not giving up. What will the lunatic(s) do now? Go more lunny I guess. Good, maybe they'll finally get themselfs locked up in asylum or something. A bit of comic relief is ok in my book but as I said before, it can have a negative effect on possible new comers (Afterall, people still join the forum from time to time) and old posters who no doubt still visit from time to time but might be reluctant to participate more actively because of such antics.

Yeah I've already been told that there's another looney of RH's stature creeping about. Maybe they were roommates in the assylum which they've escaped from.
Btw it seems this new feature (or lack of) and topic is getting to ´´them``. Already got an angry shouting pm that, in not so nice words, expresses their frustration now that they are without their main occupation in life.

Come on TSGK, Buddy has been real nice. There's no reason to call him a loony.

The poster currently known as Buddy is a great guy, but that doesn't mean he's not a loony
