Re: Switzerland concert onTHS

Damn awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
all kind's of jammin goin on here, what a crazy performance
everybody is on fire. (Gillan slight rasp)(so what)
They make it look so easy and relaxed but intense
at the same time.
This is how it's done(.)
I hear Ian Paices famous drum roll mini solo from the end of Flight Of The Rat,not to mention a full solo in Hush
with Gillan walking out itno the audience and singing with them.
This is easily one of the best video performances in the history of the band,as far as being captured live goes.
One killer show that's for sure.
You feel like your in the show, and Gillan's banter is a highlight.
Doing It tonight is TOTALLY GROOVY.....SMOKIN'SIZZELIN'.

I FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T SEE IT IN THIS QUALITY
YOU HAVEN'T GOT A CLUE HOW MUCH BETTER IT IS. emoticon

I don't know.. haven't seen it.Why do you call it a charity concert? Probably the Swiss are boring in compare to others. I think so.

No way!
It's a great audience and there is nothing boring going on here whatsoever.

Another highlight of the show is Steve Morses use of other
band's song's.
This time out he sprinkled them throughout the show instead of playing a bunch together and bugging people
with it,Free Ride during Space Truckin,
I hear hendrix Fire, also some Allman bros, and a few others.
Spreading them out and putting them in where they
fit with the proper groove, just a cracking show all together.
Gillan's banter is at it's best, his humor is dead solid perfect, reflecting the fine mood of the event.
This show makes up for all the doubt that has been introduced by the negetive punters of late.
There is something majical happening and I'm happy about it.Deep Purple at their playful best.

You can't concentrate on this show very well while
playing on the internet, too much net congestion and
just plain bad sound and visual.
You have to see it in empeg,it makes all the difference in the world. emoticon 650k MrSnip

I was simply saying it's good enough to burn to dvd.
Besides it's not only the 650k factor
I have transferred it to empeg which help's quite a bit.
Plus I have SMART STRETCHED it using the best dvd software program in the world.
It's called WINDVD RECORDER.
Trust me their is very little grain to it.
With fully opened surround sound this is as good as it get's for a home made version and way better than veiwing
while on the internet any day, actually the difference is like night and day. emoticon

I don't know...but some are sittin at tables and are well dressed , like for a Las Vegas show...I don't know...weird.I don't see the usual Bykers and all that! That doesn't mean it's a bad crowd! But I suppose it's something special (AVO session)???
The concert is awesome! The new set-list is brilliant!
And Gillan ...is he pissed off or somethin?
First using the "F" word three times in Lazy, then lookin pissed off before "Contact Lost", then expressing his views against the EU (which I prefer he'd not do-I don't like mixing music and politics...anyway),then goin in the crowd...Gettin wild in his old age?!?
Anyway GREAT GREAT GREAT!

How do you copy it onto a CD?

I have a cd-recorder (independant from the PC) that I plug into the PC and I record analogically(in real time)as the concert plays on the Pc.I can only do a few corrections like recording level and indexes, but if the source is good(and this is the case here), the copy is good too.
