Worst Support Act
So who was the worst ever????
For me, it's got to be Tank, supporting Diamond Head on the Borrowed Time tour. They were a last minute addition, filling in for Twisted Sister (who dropped out when they suddenly started becoming famous enough to tour in their own right). Tank were absolutely awful - bludgeoning riffs and meat-shredder vocals. Yuk
Oliver-Dawson Saxon supporting Dio were pretty horrible too.

Re: Worst Support Act
Bad Habits opened for dP (either w/Satch or Purpendicular tour)in Belgium. They were SO bad.The singer was out of tune, and the two guitarists were tryin to do Thin Lizzy style solos...it was just awful!
When I saw YES for the "owner of a lonely heart", the support act was a screen with Loony Tunes cartoons...At first we didn't know if it was the intro of the concert or not...At least it was funny.
When I saw ASIA (first tour), it was a clown doing magic tricks on playbacks...how weird!!!

Honestly... I can't remember I thought it was Pan Ram, but I could be wrong. It was a german (?) metal group.

Re: Worst Support Act
Yeah, that was Pan Ram and they were awful...
There have been a lot of bad supports, if I look back to all concerts I've seen (not only DP). Lately, Molly Hatchet also belonged into that group of support acts...

The Darkness on the last UK tour...20odd minutes of my life that I'll never get back.
