I just stick to MIJ. THE BEST live recorded show ever of any band!

There are moments on 'Live In London 1974' and 'Mark 3: The Final Concerts' that almost reach 'MIJ' style intensity and brilliance. Perhaps, 'Live In Paris, 1975' is up there? Just a thought. Of the Mark 2 line-up, I'd say 'Scandinavian Nights' is almost as good as 'MIJ' but, then again, we're dealing with the greatest live album of all time here.

Well I heard a show Deep Purple

West Palm Beach, USA 14.07.1972

01 - Highway Star
02 - Smoke On The Water
03 - Strange Kind Of Woman
04 - The Mule / Drum Solo
05 - Guitar Solo / Lazy
06 - Space Truckin'

This show is so energetic and the band is in excellent shape.
It rivals MIJ. I wish I had a better quality recording.

Try the Bilzen Jazz Festival version (video) of Wring That Neck (1969) on the History, Hits & Highlights DVD 68-76: that will blow your mind!............

Made in Europe is another great live experience.

Agreed. I'm surprised that so many people dislike this. Yes, it's horribly produced, but musically I think it's great. Of course Ritchie had lost interest in the band, but he delivers an excellent performance though. And Ian Paice's drumming in Mk III was always world class.

Oh yes, I even like the production. And even if some of the songs are spliced from different concerts, it's still a fantastic live album.

Although this is a very old thread, I can't help having to express my agreement with the above comment.

MIE is one of my favorite albums of all time, and one I still come back to regularly. It's powerful, majestic and super confident, and I love the production and everything about this album (except the tape loop at the end).

They (the powers that be...) should issue a deluxe triple vinyl set of the Paris show and a CD box set with all recorded shows from the Europe '75 tour.

With Made In Japan always being first with me, these are always next with me (in order):

1. Made In Europe
2. Live In London '74
3. In Concert '70-'72
4. Live In Paris '75
5. Stockholm '70
