I apologize for my long absense
So I went into my post records (after having clicked on my own username), and I apparently haven't posted here since June 25, 2009.
Just wanted to let you know that yes, I'm still alive and well, still playing in the Purple trib band-- though some days with that are better than others, and still going to school and working on an education certificate in music.
Over the summer, I got heavily into something new-- Flight Simulation. Just about all my "disposable free time" (if it's fair or right to call my leisure time that) has gone to downloading the program, making it work on my computer correctly, chatting with folks on their flight sim forum-- trying to make sense of a lot of stuff that was new to me, downloading and modifying airplane files, etc.
It's been fun, but time consuming... and unfortunately it's come at the expense of my not coming into the Purple Forum as much as I used to.
But on the plus side, I now know the difference between a Boeing 747 and an Airbus A340.... (for what that's worth). And I've actually gotten pretty good at takeoffs and landings without crashing.
But don't worry, I still make time to crank up the Purple and play the Hammond when I can. In fact, I've taken the Hammond to the school I'm studying music at, and have had an opportunity to utilize it in a few class projects, so all is well with that.

You haven't replied since 2009? I dont think I have replied since 2004 0r 2005. man, I didn't realise so many years have flown by. So what did I miss?
