But only if I´d described it the way I did here. To others who know us and the place he lives, it would seem more than harmless.

But you've got to admit that it does sound strange when you refer to your friend who's 40 years old and lives near a brothel, do you actually have any friends your own age or are they all middle-aged men that live in the red light district?. emoticon

You´d be surprised but he doesn´t live in the red light district, you´ve got a wrong picture!emoticon

I have a lot friends in my age, but with him I share my love to music(more as with most of the others). I come sometimes to his house and we drink beer together and listen to stuff from his huge record collection or something I´ve brought along with me.

If you´d followed the thread carefully you´d read that I´ve got a female friend around my age who I drink beer with!emoticon

Going out in the evenings. Meet at the pub. Some are contacts of contacts of contacts...

In Regensburg surprisingly many people know each other despite the population of over 140.000 people.

Sounds like a lovely place to exist....but not for me, I'm destined to end up in a cave on a windswept Scottish island just a few caves down from David Meadows. emoticon

No, he's in Afghanistan...that's too hot for me. emoticon

Seriously, I'm headed that way, I haven't spoken to anyone on a social level for about 6 years now and it doesn't bother me at all...should I be worried or should I just get on with packing my steamer trunk and making an appointment with Middle-Of-Nowhere Esate Agents PLC in The Western Isles for the viewing of a cave?. emoticon

I could do the same without having a problem. In the last two weeks I´ve only met people 2 or 3 nights and I actually feel quite good that way.

Come to think of it, we have nice caves here as well!emoticon
