Crap Links - Protest
I'm starting a campaign to stop members from starting threads that are link-dependent and not providing the links or providing all the news information to support the thread.
E.g., Did you see that Blacker's interview in that rock magazine this month.

Wott is right. On a board which is used world wide, it's nonsense to talk about "that rock magazine" for instance without specifying exactly what is meant. The inventors of the Internet created the possibility of hyperlinking for certain reasons. And if it's about a source outside the Internet, it should be possible to specify it by its exact name. If someone thinks he needn't tell me which source he refers to, he needn't tell or ask me anything about it at all.
