I was torn at the time, I thought JLT was great and there were strong compositions, but it lacked punch. I forgot the album when JLT joined Yngwie and only dug in out in the late 1990s for a spin. And the next time was recently. I really haven't changed my opinion on it, though now I feel the lack of punch is a question of production not playing.

Agree. Which is surprising to me because Roy Thomas Baker was the man behind Queen (A Night At The Opera, nice feather in the cap emoticon , The Cars). Like we were saying about SIUA being polished up in the RB forum, I thought Rescue You suffers from that too. It sounded great when it came out because it had that "80's sheen" to it. Now it sounds dated, but there's no question the songs are there.
