Female Vocals on Deep Purple Songs
So far, I haven't heard many Deep Purple covers featuring female vocals.
I like this one . Awaken, A Belgian prog rock band has already covered it using female vocals too.
A certain Nick Cane did it with Into the Fire. And it worked.
And of course, there are the many covers of Deep Purple classics by various bands...
I was wondering which Purple song I would like to hear performed by a lady:
- Highway Star
- Child in Time
- You keep on moving
--- "Booze kills.
But how many people are born because of it?"

Yeah, They also did SOTW and Black Night in the early years (Black Night was later sung by Robert). They did several Rainbow numbers as well (MOTSM, SOD...).

Rezi, do you actually mean that BN is the Blackmorified tribute band of former glory.

This Time Around and/or Mistreated would be interesting to hear a powerful, blues oriented woman have a crack at it.Cool idea that, quite honestly,I'd never really thought about before!!CHEERS
